To all the negatigers, GTFO and GFY!! It was a packed house last night, stadium got pretty damned loud and the defense held up(for the most part), jefferson had a few boneheaded plays but, like a caller into 98.1 said last night, he is maturing before our eyes, and if this guy can mature and play to his abilities, weve got one of the best qb's in teh league.

In other notes, Ridley is a solid running back, though a couple of our plays were pretty poorly executed(delayed handoffs, etc.). Trindon made the most of his senior night, and THROWING AGAINST THIS LSU SECONDARY WILL BE SUICIDE NEXT YEAR!! (oh, and hawkins was getting burned all night,,,he was pretty much the only one).

Guys, I am not saying this excuses anything about Miles coaching, and i still think crowton needs to go, but we played a helluva game last night, tiger stadium was rocking, and it was a damn good time

Look forward to kicking some big 10 team's arse in Orlando(or maybe some revenge on the hawkeyes?)

If you think Jefferson will be one of the best QB's in the league, then you don't have much of a league! If stating fact's and reality makes me negative, then so be it and frick you! You are excited and calling last night's game great? LSU had to pull a game out of their asses against an unranked team at home in OT, where Arky's kicker misses a chippie to keep it going, and you are calling it great? States clearly how far the program, and the acceptance of it, have fallen! 8-8 last 16 SEC games! Unacceptable! Nough said!

Yeah right... like 20,000 people left during the third quarter or at halftime! Announcers on television even called the fans out for leaving a great game. Win or lose, that game was great in terms of entertainment value, so why leave in the 3rd quarter???? shite! I wish I wasn't offshore or I would've been there...

Sure beats losing to an unranked Ar-Kansas team like we have the last two years.

Just made my point about how bad the program is now for me there pal. Just glad to beat Arky, cause we hadn't beaten unranked hogs in a while! That in itself is pathetic! So when is Miles gonna reverse the trends against Bama, Florida, and Ole Miss? Thought so!

They must have come back because the place was pretty well packed for the end of the game.

Cherry pick? What the frick, you clusterfricking Miles apologist! 8 - 8 in the SEC in the last 16 games is bigger than life, what the hell have you been watching! Had 2 game losing streaks to 4 SEC teams and 3 of them from the west, and just squeaked by a 3rd in a row to Arky at home in fricking OT! Finally winning one against one of those teams and being excited as hell about it, is cherry picking there, ace!

i think a lot of the negativity (i know mine is) is because of the inconsistency of the offense and the fact we are a piss poor blocking team, OL and every other position. add the appearant confusion on the sideline and huddle and the seemingly lack of emotion of JJ, many tiger fans have no confidence in the team. we looked better coached last night. seems that after the ole miss game, somebody took note and the team worked on some basic stuff. we should be better next year, but we gotta get better organized on offense. sometimes, my confidence in our O even getting a play off in 40 sec.s is shot. then we seem to have to take a TO and then run it up the middle. why do you need a time out to call a play up the middle?

From a fan's point of view, it was an exciting game. Of course we had some boneheaded plays, but hell, our quarterback is only a sophomore, give the dude a fricking break. We BOTH know Crowton needs to go. 9-3 was the predicted record by most LSU sports analysts, dumbass!! Of course ole miss was a bad game. But You choose to rat on our team and be a pessimistic little shite about a victory then so be it GO frick YOURSELF

No, it was not perfect, and we still have MUCH to work on..but it was nice seeing a hard fought victory for my tigers!!

I agree GrandDad,

I never once said I agreed with the playcalling, and once again, I'll say I think Crowton needs to go. I found myself cursing Crowton at the top of my lungs along with others bc some of the plays were so bad. But as far as just a game atmosphere and ending, it was an exciting one, and I (and others, judging by everyone's smiles)did too..Just trying to relax, take a deep breath, and enjoy a victory..We all know what must become of crowton(unemployment)

I actually agree with Cheetah. Despite lots of people leaving early, I thought it was the 2nd best atmosphere in Tiger Stadium this year (other than 1st half of FL). The people who stuck around are the group of fans that actually support the team in the good and the bad. And there was plenty of good and bad last night. I'm proud that the team bounced back, and even did so by putting together a two minute drive (after Jeff took the sack again!!!). Les has lost me, but the players deserved some success and it was fun to watch. I'm just glad we didn't mail it in like last year. Here's to hoping we get the chance to play against Joe Pa and Penn St. in Disney!
