The smartest offensive game plan would be to run Ridley out of a power I or pro set. Arkansas has a suspect run defense. A ball control offense would limit the number of possessions of our opponents, help out our defensive unit and take the pressure to keep scoring off of a young quarterback (other teams have been using this same strategy against us - please see TOP for the last 5 games). Problem is, Crowton cannot be expected to implement such an obvious answer and Miles, though he is the HEAD coach and is making $3.8M per year, cannot be expected to ensure that his OC implements such a game plan.
