To answer your question, it's not a violation to lend them some gloves, but to give them away would be.

However there are a lot of scenarios that would make it not a violation.

1: The gloves were given to UF for free, meaning under armor is giving them to him
2: He was just borrowing them
3: gloves is street slang for eye gouges

Also even if it was a violation

1: a player did it, it's not like a booster or a coach did it
2: It's a ten dollar set of gloves. Is the SEC going to drop the hammer over 10 bucks?
3: I think something so small between friends wouldn't be considered a violation any way. It's like if your uncle is a coach and he gives you a normal present.
