I may be wrong, there has been way to big of an influx of posts for me to read them all, but am I the only one that feels that even as badly as they screwed up that last drive, the call on the two-point conversion after the pass interference call was completely retarded? Everyone has been focusing on the last drive and how bad they screwed that up, but we could have tied the game and gone into overtime. Maybe I'm not a football genius like Gary Crowton, but how is it good play calling when you put your quarterback into a shotgun formation when you are less than 2 yards from the endzone and also call the EXACT SAME PLAY as before? The Ole Miss line was not that good, hell we probably could have quarterback sneaked the damn ball in.

Alright I'm done. Had to let the anger out.

Exactly, another blunder by Miles and Crowder.

Even with the ridiculous play call, they had a chance to convert. Randle was running a slant, which is probably the highest percentage play if you've completely abandoned the run as we did at some point this season. The two inside linebackers(one may have been a safety, not sure) showed blitz before the snap. I understand that JJ is 19, but not being able to handle hot reads is inexcusable when you're playing SEC level football. And I'm not trashing Jefferson. I put that squarely on the coaches. Lee and Jefferson both struggle with the mental part of the game. I'm led to believe the coaches aren't capable of coaching them up.

What is Miles' record at LSU in overtime again? That may answer your question.

If les would have ran it and got stuffed we would have been criticizing him for running ridley on that play when he had been stuffed two times on third and one against Alabama and La Tech.

The onside kick lost the game not any of the above.

Actually, missing the 2 point conversion is the only thing that gave us any chance at all to win the game. We had zero chance in overtime.
