The Auburn game where Flynn threw the TD pass to Byrd with no time left. Miles thought there was more time on the clock; enough for another play if it was dropped.

That was Flynn's fault IMO. He had at least 15-20 seconds on the clock after the play call if I remember correctly.

that was more on Flynn for taking a while to snap the ball. and I'm by no means a Miles apologist.

There was enough time left for another play. This is clear by the fact there was a kickoff immediately after the conversion try.

...if that risky pass failed, then the melt-down would have started at that time, IMO...
