I do and agree with you. What people seem to misunderstand is that the real problem was with letting the clock get down so far *before* the attempted spike.

And it's worth pointing out that most of the fans calling for Miles' head didn't realize that during the game either.

Fact is, pretty much everyone thought that with 4th and 26, you either make it to the endzone or that's it. Nobody thought that someone would make a first down and *not* get in the endzone.

this isn't really an issue if we call timeout with 23 seconds left instead of running it down to 9
