nah, i think you are missing the fact that tolliver caught it and there was :02 left when he hit the ground .. the play doesn't necessarily end the second he hits the ground .. it is on the referee's whistle .. watch any college game and one or two seconds are going to run off the clock when a guy hits the ground ..

I thought it was Lafell, but stand corrected as I was so pissed. However, you are wrong about when the clock is supposed to stop. From a practical standpoint, the clock operator is usually late, but technically it is supposed to stop when the runner, in this case receiver, is down. In college, he cannot get up and run once he is down. Even it was 2 seconds, we would have had time to spike the ball leaving enough time with the clock stopped for the FG unit to do their job.
