What everyone is missing is that despite the fact that timout should have been called after the horrific call to Ridley on the swing pass in the flat for a 7 yard loss, Lafell caught the hail mary and hit the ground with 3 seconds left. First down stops the clock so we would have had time to spike the ball and have two maybe 1 second left with the clock stopped. Plenty of time for FG team to run on, get set snap and kick the winning FG, assuming a good snap, hold and kick. Mississippi has had to set their watches back one second when entering Louisiana. Now they no longer have to do that because we are even.

nah, i think you are missing the fact that tolliver caught it and there was :02 left when he hit the ground .. the play doesn't necessarily end the second he hits the ground .. it is on the referee's whistle .. watch any college game and one or two seconds are going to run off the clock when a guy hits the ground ..
