Sure wish some one could start an opinion poll regarding Les Miles and let's tally the votes
(1) Should he be fired now following the Ole Miss game
(2) Should he be fired if LSU loses out this year
(3) Should he be back at LSU next year

#2 - For me cause LSU will be 0 - 7 in November the last 3 years and that SUCKS since the Arkansas game in 2007 !!
Especially considering who have we played in November.....

1, I think that is time for a change. He just has no sense of what is going on in key moments in the game.

Not sure what option 2 means, but I say fire him at the end of the regular season, irrespective of the outcome of the Arkansas game or playing an upcoming bowl game. He has squandered incredibly great talent here, and the talent pool for recruiting will quickly dry up. I think Nick Saban is a mercenary SOB, BUT he has disciplined teams who know what the play is when they take the field. Is this any different from what Miles has been in the past/ Not really, we just got really burned this time.

Coach Miles can be described as follows:
He's a class act.
He insists on his players to display good character at all times.
He is an excellent recruiter.
He supports academic excellance for his players.
But,
He is not a very good field coach, as far as making needed adjustments as the games progress.
His players don't improve as the year goes on, particularly the QB position (Lee last yr and Jefferson this yr).
I'm not sure that he allows his coordinators (particularly Crowton) to establish and execute their games plans.
He tends to be very conservative on the offensive side of the ball. (His offensive philosphy borders on being a mid-60s-70s Big Ten mindset).
He does not keep up with the times on the offensive side of the ball. Our "spread-offense" is a joke.
If one is satisfied to go 8-4 every year, he's your man. I don't believe he will change anything next year.

You forgot to add possibly the most important thing (and certainly the most glaring from yesterday): His clock management is (and I'm being kind here) absolutely atrocious.
