No way to accurately predict with any certainty, i.e... how far would Bama fall in the BCS polls under these circumstances. From strictly a money standpoint - I would assume more money would be generated by Bama fans traveling to the game, staying in motel rooms, etc....

I think that's the old cliche, but there were not hotel rooms int NOLA the last few times LSU has played there, though 2 of those were NC games. The one thing that could hurt Bama is they were there last year and it would be the 2nd strait year that its a consolation game for them. That said, the SB doesn't have to take an SEC team and the Sugar or Fiesta would take Bama in a second if the SB went with say USC instead.
