Sugar bowl Scenario

If Bama was to lose to Auburn and Florida in their last two games, Who would get into the Sugar bowl a two loss LSU or Bama team?

Technically, neither would be required to get an invite since the Sugar would be off the hook on their SEC tie-in with UF going to the 'ship. But practically, I see Sugar taking Bama in that unlikely scenario for 2 reasons (1) winner of the head to head competition and (2) $$$$$ from fans.

No way to accurately predict with any certainty, i.e... how far would Bama fall in the BCS polls under these circumstances. From strictly a money standpoint - I would assume more money would be generated by Bama fans traveling to the game, staying in motel rooms, etc....

so there you go- decisions are made based on $$$$$$$ , before, after and during the game

Bama had the loss to Utah there. If they happened I would think Sugar would go with LSU. They still do well financially with LSU there.

I think that's the old cliche, but there were not hotel rooms int NOLA the last few times LSU has played there, though 2 of those were NC games. The one thing that could hurt Bama is they were there last year and it would be the 2nd strait year that its a consolation game for them. That said, the SB doesn't have to take an SEC team and the Sugar or Fiesta would take Bama in a second if the SB went with say USC instead.

BAMA = consolation game

Sounds good but we are not going to a BCS Bowl

no way the sugar bowl (or any BCS game) takes a team on a 2 game losing streak. So if Bama loses to auburn then to Florida, we'll have a better shot than they do IMO.
