I hope I am wrong but do you think we have seen the best of Les already? Are we destined to be at best #3 in the SEC? I just don't know what to think. Officials were terrible against Bama last Saturday but Les made some questionable coaching calls also... one being the two point conversion and another is expecting Lee to come in with no playing time this year and lead the team to a win in the biggest game of the year. The guy was hidden away all year and given no game time experience and it was alot to ask him to come into that game and lead the team.

Just exactly how much playing time do you expect a backup quarterback to get? Certainly in blowout games with little left to be decided, but come on. The guy started 8 games last year, he's not an unknown commodity (certainly to Bama pass defenders). Did you really think he was going to lead us to victory with 4 of our key players out????? We were fortunate to have only lost by 9

What were his other fricking options? True Freshman in Shepard? Walk-on McCartney? You make it sound as if Jefferson were 100% playing hop scotch on the freaking sidelines. Despite was the broadcast said, Jefferson was NOT ready to go back into the game.

It is definitely Miles' fault with Lee.He could have played him against Lafayette, Tulane...at least would have given him some playing time this year to make things comfortable, give him some confidence. Les obviously didn't want to play him until he absolutely HAD to, look at the first time JJ went down and Les waited and waited, calling a TO to keep JJ in the game. Why didn't he just let Lee transfer this past off season if he doesn't want to play him??

Because Les didn't give the guy any playing time this year. Still serving his punishment for last year obviously.

Yeah, I can see it now. Let's say he puts Lee in against ULL and he throws an INT that leads to a ULL touchdown. LSU wins the game 31-10 which leads to a TON of people bitching about him taking Jefferson out of the game and only beatin ULL by 21 points. Les it truly in a no-win situation with a portion of the LSU fanbase. He's damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't.

that's ridiculous, its obvious that Jefferson is the best we have right now, and he is young too, and needs EVERY SECOND of the PT he has gotten this year...Lee getting a couple of extra drives vs. Tulane and ULL would not have helped him beat Bama last Saturday, that IS NOT LES MILES FAULT.

Try playing the guy some.. in blowouts or even in some series during games.. don't continue to hide him away because he represents your errors from last year... take some heat for the situations you put him in and give the guy some reps in case he's gotta play, lets say, in the biggest game of the year.

What are you talking about? This mop up duty would have obviously enabled him to drive the field against the vaunted Bama defense at will.

Gen. Lee cannot come into the game and carry us to a win against Bama when he has not had much gametime play to get back in the groove. Until
Les starts playing guys that are backups to give them gametime experience we will continue like this for as long as Les is here. It is is fault
if he does not use the guys off the depth chart to get experience.

its really not worth it for me to continue arguing this, but do you honestly believe if he had had a few snaps in games we had won big, (which havnt been many this year), the outcome of the Bama game would have been different? really? REALLY?

or he could try to give our starting and inexperienced qb more playing time to try to have him ready to win the big games.
