LSU vs. ULM at the PMAC 7PM

I know its ULM but after looking at their website they may not be quite as bad as I thought. They were 10-20 a year ago and received 1 first place vote in the SunBelt Western Division.
They return all 5 starters from last year (4 average 10+ PPG) and have a few big boys (Turner 6'8" 275, Ribeiro 6' 10" 245, and Burt 7' 0" 240).
In their exhibition game vs. UT-Tyler they killed them 39-82 shooting over 40% from 3 pt land. Never underestimate a good 3 pt shooting underdog. They also held UT-Tyler to 20% shooting and had 19 steals!
I don't see LSU having too much trouble, but ULM has some players that will make LSU work. Looks like a good first game matchup.
Also for anyone interested I will be keeping statistics and evaluations that can be downloaded from www.mediafire.com/southofsouth . I will update every Tuesday of the season. Feel free to check the format of the statistics spreadsheet and offer advise if there is something else you think would be beneficial.

I think it'll be a good competitive game. Probably not as close as 91 (or was it 92) when Paul Marshall had to hit a 3 for LSU to survive. Ironic Marshall later transferred to NLU/ULM.

I have to miss, unfortunately.

Wow. Well I guess I know you, and I do like LSU basketball more than football. (Football gets me through the fall for Spring!) I didn't realize the game was on Friday and accepted an invitiation somewhere else. We don't play games on Friday, except this one
