How far down in UAT off the interstate (exit 73 I believe)....when I was taking Mrs 79 to UAB on Sunday I was tempted to go look.

She wouldn't let me We also stayed at the Sheraton in Birmingham which was next to SEC headquarters and she wouldn't let me go see Mike S either

Scoop, I was looking at schedules for next year and it looks like Bama will be in LSU's position in 2010. You play UF the week before we play you. You also have several games where the opposing team has their bye week prior to your game.

I think that next year will be LSU's turn to dominate the SEC. Our issue will be our non conference games against UNC and later west Virginia.

I agree. I think the west will be tough next year. Most of our tough gmaes are on the road so that except for Florida and Auburn. Also, we lose a lot on defense. I think our D will still be pretty nasty but we have some tough road games.

How far is what...The University of Alabama?

It's about 5 miles I guess. Not very far at all.

UF should be significantly down so LSU has a great shot at beating Bama and UF in the same year. That is a very rare thing.

I just hope that Arkansas doesn't get good all of a sudden and screw it up for us. They have potential.

Scoop, thats nice and all, however, if I were a Bama or Florida fan or another great team with damn good coach, I would want LSU to keep Miles also. LSU will never crack the top of the conference again, as long as Miles is here. Bama in just a few short years has gone flying by LSU, and after what Bama was and what LSU was. Miles and LSU are definitely 2nd tier SEc, and apparently thats good enough for quite a few people, but not me. 8-8 in last 16 SEC games, and 7 - 7 last two years in the SEC with 2 potential losses still out there this year. With Miles and totally his players and coaching and style and methods, LSU is middle of the pack, and stuck in the mud offensively!

AWWwwwww GrandDad.... do like I do, hate the TEAM, but not this fan.

BamaScoop is good people, but even he can't make up for the typical Bammers I am around day in and day out!!

I respect your opinion and he is your coach but I disagree. Y'alls defense played us to the wire last weekend and y'alls secondary shut us down for the most part. I think PP is probably the best in college football and that is not just raw talent someone is coaching him. I think y'alls only issue this year has been a young QB.

Just my opinion but I think it would be a huge mistake to get rid of coach Miles.

Miles is very underestimated as a coach. Alabama and florida are loaded with expierienced senior talent this year.

Next year, we be our chance. And when bama and florida lose a couple each, everyone will say it's because of A, b and c. But we will dominate. Very hard to be dominant every year. You have to have breaks.

And i am not convinced that bama and florida will not lose another game.

we are definitley the 3 best team in the sec, that is how good we are THIS year. Next year we will be better.

In my opinion Coach Miles handled the Ryan Perrilloux thing perfectly. He gave the kid more than his fair share of chances and RP blew it so he eliminated the problem.

RP had a similar situation to JJ and RP got to stay on the team

like black, scott, keiland, dickson, lafell, hitt, riley, hawkins, woods, alexander, and alem?

we have to "rebuild" the OL, WR, and RB corps

our QB is still unproven and not a fit for what our OC calls

we lose a lot of DL from a DL that is thin and crappy

Does bama have any kind of fan site? Just wondering why this guy is always on TD, which is an LSU site. Guess he is lonely. How sad his life must be!

slopro. florida has a shitload it is losing on defense. They returned all their starters this year.

I am NOT concerned about losing KW, CS or BL. I think we have talent as good or better that will get the ball.

JJ gonna be worse right??

Woods, alexander and alem have never lived up to thier potential. Nevis, downs, mcfarland, hicks just off the top of my head, should be more then enough to hold it down. Do we lose any of our secondary??? I have faith in our new dline coach, seeing as how they have improved game to game. I am not worried about defense at all with the coaches we have.

We will have a better oline and fullback. Peterson will be better then dickson.

And i think better qb and running backs. we will have expierience i hope to use our skill players to their potential.

I am sorry that you think we will be worse.

I think bama's d is maybe i mean maybe a hair better then ours. And they lose alot more then we will on d. And they bought more back this year then we did
