That dudes a beast (thanks Gruden!) but his hands gotta get firmed up huh? His drops have been costly lately. Is this a concern down the stretch?

He killed us in Atlanta last year - dropping TD's, 3rd down conversions, etc.
I think he's a great WR but it's strange how he goes all season without a big drop and then has like 4 in the same fricking game.

Again, drops are really all about confidence I think..if someone drops a pass it usually gets in your head and becomes contagious

Last year he had an injured hand. And another thing I was discussing with a friend regarding Colston. We don't see every game involving other teams' top receiver, and we tend to think the great ones don't make mistakes. All of them, and I mean all of them, have stinkers.

people just forget because everyone loves colston
eta: to clarify they arent very good compared to how much people like to claim they are. Especially when it comes to some of the easier catches.

I think it would be fair to say the following:
Colston had an amazing year in 2006
Colston had a disappointing year in 2007
Colston had a disappointing year in 2008 (effected by injury)
Colston has had a very nice year so far in 2009 - one bad game.
I don't think anybody dislikes Colston - he's the type of dude that you love to have on your team. I'll be shocked if he has another bad game.

finding fault is one thing but when we're 8-0 and our best receiver gets criticized its ridiculous... people on this site love to complain and bitch.... its stupid the dude had one bad gamne and last year he was banged up......
