Went today, and it was a very positive experience. Order from the counter-some of the crew got the fried pork chop, which was about the size of a manhole cover and very tender. A couple got the red beans and rice, which they said was terrific. I got the fried chicken-leg and thigh, pieces were a little small, but crispy, cooked perfectly, and very flavorful. Sides were all awesome-I had green beans, yams and cornbread dressing, others had mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, rice and gravy. All got good reviews. Lunch plates were $7.95, very reasonable for the huge amount of food (main course, 3 sides and cornbread). Very nice and clean inside as mentioned above. Didn't hurt that #3 Chad Jones was sitting at the table next to us-figure if an LSU player is in there chowing down, it's a good sign.

We will be back.
