Earth To Tiger Fans

We here on planet Earth are calling out to the fans of the LSU Tigers, who apparently have left our beautiful blue world and were last seen Saturday night approaching Uranus -- and with a trajectory straight out into the void of darkness.
We here on planet Earth also still have pretty decent memories -- and are saddened that so many of you partook of the absynthe or the purple and gold kool-aid. Those few survivors and retainers of some semblance of intellect, rhyme, or reason that are left here will almost unilaterally agree that not one single legitimate non-star-crossed fan thought we would do much better than 10-2 -- maybe 9-3. So we lost to to the top 2 teams to the country. What did you expect at season's sunrise? We have a ridiculously young quarterback that is getting better each game. Compare Fla and 'Bama games. We have a defense that at first did not believe in its new coordinator, but is starting to catch on. We have a boatload of talent across the board, although yes it's true there have been disappointments. So what? If we beat Ole Miss and the Piggies -- it's back to the Outback or Cap-One against probably Ohio State, which will be the most anticipated bowl game of the season outside of the BCSNCG.
So the referees in the SEC have been ordered to do whatever it takes for 'Bama and Fla to get to the SECCG? Earth to Tiger fans -- it wasn't our year. It never was going to be our year.
Good grief -- the recruiting is solid. The coaching is solid. The fan base is paranoid. Next year, Jordan Jefferson makes a run at the Heisman. Stephen Ridley runs for 1,400 yards. Fla loses everybody. 'Bama loses Cody and Ryans, and we get them here. We are fricking LOADED!!!
You're getting faint because you're traveling ever more into the dim recesses of the universe. Let this be the last thing you hear from humanity --

Since it is predestined by the SEC with the officiating crew, what difference does it matter who comes to LSU to play. We could be loaded with 5 star players, 3 deep at each position, and if it is predestined by the SEC offices, we will not win. So stop telling people how great the recruiting will be while telling us that games are played out in advance by the SEC office.

I have expected next year to be a drop off year and to improve in 2011 back to around 8-4.

If it wasn't the refs, it would be something else. LSU is supposed to win every game and when we don't, it's because our 2nd string QB is better than the starter, we're playing the wrong RB, the head coach won't let the off coord. open up the playbook, we're not as disciplined as the rantards' team was when they played in HS, the crowd left early, the band played bad songs, piped in music, wrong uniforms, it was daytime etc. etc. etc.

We gave up 450+ yards and 2 passing TDs to one of the worst offenses in the country, who hadn't scored a passing TD in 15 quarters of play.

Nope. Games at Bama and Tennessee plus Florida at home which will better than their 2010 squad (which I expect them to lose 2 next year.)
BTW, that year I think it will be Auburn will win the West.

By 2011 LSU will have a senior laden team, many of the young players who LSU anticipates will step up should. Remember 2007 was at Bama, with South Carolina and VT on schedule and Florida was there also.

So will Florida and Bama. Bama has a lot of great players coming up as well as Bama. I think the fix is in for those two schools for quite a while and a bone will be thrown to Tennessee and Auburn.
