They are plugging away out here how the SEC made sure UF and AL. remained undefeated so that one could play in national championship game. Not much credit at all givin to Al just the replay ref making sure Al. remained undefeated. Really makes the SEC look bad.So much for fairness they say and i can't argue that

One thing is for sure: If the NCAA thinks the officiating in the SEC is far from fair...the SEC will not get as many bowls to officiate. NCAA can pick from all conferences.

I personally wish NCAA officials would NOT be conference bound. We'd probably get better officiating from SunBelt or even C-USA officials.

Did Miles say anything in his press conference today or did he just take it?

I like Miles and I think he is smart. He knows dep down there is nothing that will change the outcome. I know some feel he is being a pussy on the call but you can bet if he says anything...he may not just get fined, he may get suspended as well because I think Shive is a power monger and would do it to set an example.

Basically let the refs/sec off the hook. I was very disappointed.

He was clever about how he said it. He said that the toughest thing is telling the players that there's nothing you can do about a referee's call.He said Peterson was sure he was inbounds, and he said that when the ref gets it right, it's easy to tell it the player to live with it, but this one was difficult.

As blatant as that was, I really expected him to come out and let them have it, fines and suspensions be damned. I'm pretty disappointed actually, makes the whole conference look bad.
