Can Someone Tell Crowton to take the Option our Offense?

Our option game is pathetic everybody in Alabama knew when it was coming and running it to the short side of the field is a cardinal sin it is about as bad and trying a triple reverse in an NFL Game I hope to see that play totally elimanated

It actually worked a couple of times when we used Scott as the tailback. It was also pretty effective when Jefferson kept it. Option's not effective if the other team knows the QB is going to pitch it every time.

The option can be a very effective "keep them honest" play if you teach your quarterback how to run it.

While I agree that I don't like us running the option, I don't think this game is the one to bring it up. We ran the option more successfully Saturday against Alabama than we have all season.

I agree it has been ugly all season including the Bama game, but even though it was ugly Sat. nite it also resulted in positive plays most of the nite.

it had it's moments but I remember Jefferson trying it early in the third and we lost like six yards I guess I feel our offense is still underacheiving with all the weapons we have

Did some of you miss the game? The option was effective Saturday in a number of plays.
