Spread them out, don't take too many snaps under center. This will pit our offensive speed vs their defensive speed, we are faster. It will negate their pass rush as well, and it will force Bama to play in nickel and dime packages (playing more DBs and less DTs), and expose their weaker secondary. Make that fat terrance cody chase us instead of running straight at him.

I agree with this.

JJ scrambling for TWO/THREE instead of losing 12 on a sack is THE KEY to field possesion, time of possession, and ultimately the game.

I say run his arse all over the field and then cut his arse and make him get himself off the ground every play.

One problem with your assessment of Bama's " weaker secondary". They are #2 in the country in pass efficiency defense.

We can still run - just spread them out first and then gash them later. Shep and KW need to be involved in this, as does Holliday. JJ needs to pull it down and run for first downs as well. Scott up the middle will not work here, at least not at first.

Nice research my friend, but if I had to choose my poison between Alabama's d-line and their secondary, I would rather more of their DBs on the field. They have the number one rush defense. Also, i feel like a lot of that pass defense rating is due to their pass rush and effecting the QB. Hence spreading them out, negating the rush...

Pass to open up the run. JJ needs to make quick decisions and take risks deep downfield. Get the ball to your speedy playmakers in the short passing game. We will be able to run some on them.
