Obviously this was a Malzahn pull from his days in Arkansas. What are the odds that Malzahn gets a smaller head gig somewhere next season and if so, will we see guys coming off the board at Auburn?

That will be interesting. Does Memphis look at Malzahn? What about Colorado in a year or two? IMO I don't see Malzahn being there for more than two more years.

Good pick up for AU though. I think it's a bad decision, but good pick up regardless.

Is this a indictment upon Petrino?

Even with AU's struggles this year Ben Tate still leads the SEC in rushing. Dyer will fit in just nicely. Malzahn ain't going nowhere. He's just getting started.

Dude, if a mid-tier job comes along Malzahn would be crazy not to take it if he wants to be a big time head coach one day.

You have no clue if Malzahn will be at Auburn next year. The Memphis Job will be his if he wants it. He will also be mentioned for the Louisville job.

This thing with Dyer is far from over. It will come down to signing day IMO.

Dyer is a great pickup and he has alot of "love" for Auburn. He may end up there. But this isn't near finished....

at UT and Arky fans.

Why would he go to UT w/o even knowing who the RB coach was going to be next year?

And Arky? No chance.

His teamate.... dumbass. He and his dad have just taken the kid on every visit he has been on. They are tight and Auburn offered him as well. They are likely to play together. But I forgot who I was talking to....

That would be Eddie Gran or if he was to leave it could be Trooper Taylor....

win-win-win for us. helps ease any lache tension, fricks bama (the first in a very bad weekend for them), and i cant help but like auburn. too many epic games between us not to respect them and their fans. it will suck to play against him, but that was gonna happen one way or another.

Yeah. Trooper is just dying to get back to UT so he can be mentored by Kiffen.

And IF Gran is gone? Hate to break it to you, but he'll go wherever Tuberville is coaching.
