Guy's a good coach, but Miles seems to be a better all-around guy. And, according to the article, is ahead of Saban.

I don't get that either. We had players, we didn't have Nick's system. That's what did it.
I was very sad to see Nick leave, but he did and it's history.

What aggravates me about all the "8-5 last season" talk is that everyone fails to mention we lost our starting (star) QB before the season AND our defensive coordinator from the year before. Why do people always forget this? That definitely makes a difference!

I don't understand why LSU fans are so negative regarding Nick Saban. Nick Saban only has good thngs to say about LSU and their fans. He did what he thought was the best decision at the time when he came to Bama.

I don't have a problem with him. I'm grateful. What I have a problem with is the constant comparision of LM to NS. Also note that NS lied (saying he was not going to Bama...& rather adamantly) but that has nothing to do with LSU.

I believe at the time Saban said that, he did not think he would ever be at Alabama--His wife talked to Mal Moore and encouraged him to keep taling with Saban.

Exactly. It's an "apples & oranges" situation, there is no way to truly compare that...the media beats it to death.
