When I lived in NOLA and surrounding areas I tried a couple of places and gave up. I dont know of anywhere that makes it that is remotely good boudin. My sister lives in the LaPlace area and when my parents visit her they bring her boudin and they return with Andouille. I have tried some of Link's boudin at a function he had and I wasnt too impressed with it. Im sure if you bought it from his place it would be way overpriced too.

yeah, i don't even know if the boudin is any good at Jacob's or Bailey's. I just assumed it was better than stuff in NOLA proper.
