All right, now this is getting old. Lets stop being homers here...if Reed committed you people would be all up in CPA's nutz about it. Reed isn't a must have, but he will be very successful wherever he goes.

The best 5 players in the state are currently juniors. Seriously though, if Auburn gets Reed then good for them. It's a loss, but LSU isn't short by any means in the WR category. Hunter and Davis, not to mention Landry next year. Reed is a good player, but he is not a once every ten year kind of guy. There are guys like him every year. Good pick up for the barn, though.

seriously, laugh all you want but he isnt great, not a five star quality player, and he isnt the number one player in the state

there are several players who are better, Jarvis Landry for one

good get if he commits to you but dont even start trying to rub it in LSU's face that you are getting this guy, at least not until you break that losing streak against us

Yep, it is. The film doesn't lie, and IMO he has the best film of any Senior in the state, without a doubt.

I also think it's funny how Auburn fans are saying they'll be "kicking our arse" for years to come based on potentially grabbing a decent to good WR prospect that we want. I know you jokers haven't been used to major recruiting as of late, but battles like this happen. You win some you lose some. It's the name of the game.

No, I really wouldn't because like I said before, most on here have said he was overrated when the rankings were announced. He is not better than Chris Tolliver and what has he done so far at LSU?

Reed is NOT the #1 player in this state...

and Auburn needs a lot more than Trovon Reed to become legit again.

Auburn is a joke. They're about as relevant as Kentucky at this point. That's why their penis-envy fans spend enormous amounts of time on an LSU board to boost their self-esteem. What's bad is that they have to grab at whatever crumbs of optimism possible in order to do it.

Pitiful state they've reached as a program and fanbase. Can't even win their state championship so they have to try to celebrate a "victory" in any form possible.

FYI, I think Troy may be the #2 team in the state. Auburn could be #3.

Well if the kid wants to go to Auburn let him go, I think it would be a dumb move for a number of reasons

How can you blame him after all of the grabs Benton is pulling in?

HiddenFlask, are you still hearing that all this Auburn talk is laughable and to not believe it? Just wondering if its over with or if this is just Auburn hoping for the best.

I just ran into the guy at the football game. He's not the kind of guy I talk with every day. He's never given me bad info before and has been right 2 or 3 times whenever everyone else was saying something different.

what's really crazy about his lack of production is the fact that they have awful receivers ahead of him.

let me be the first to apologize for actually having another competitive team in our state but lets all bow down to the all mighty competition that lsu has to deal with in their great state

+1

I kinda feel bad for the kid, but LSU gave him every shot in the world.

He can't blame them for passing for RR.

if I was banking on Trevon Reed turning around my shitty program I'd probably stop before the 5'11 170lb 4.6 part came up too.
