some friends of mine are thinking about starting a drive thru daiquiri shop. obviously there is much more liability with that type of bar as opposed to a regular walk in type bar.

i was wondering if anyone knows of what extra licenses, insurance, etc. that they would need.

thanks alot

I find them damn convenient. It is a pain to haul my kids inside a bar.

how is there more liability? other than drunks basically driving into the store instead of having to park.

In Louisiana there is a law that says the bar is not responsible for damages caused by people after drinking in their bar- I don't know what its called, but in other states you can sue the bar and win, here if you sue the bar, your not gonna win.

Is this legal in BR? it seems like it would have already been done if so. I do love them though
