LSU's D did really well overall, but there were a couple of drives in the second half where AU started gashing the D for significant yardage on running plays. Some of it was good blocking on AU's part, and/or LSU's defenders not quite being in good position, but it did seem a few runs got extra yardage after contact, especially off the left side per my memory of it. I think it definitely should be addressed by the team and hopefully is, but at the same time, the defense really did play a solid game-- the secondary did well, in particular.

From what I have seen this year watching other games around the conference I would put out secondary out there against anybody. Eugene and Claiborne, our backup CB's, could start at CB for anybody in the conference.
