1. We have some pretty fair weather fans.

Last week we were destined for Shreveport and the Independence Bowl and suddenly this week we are ready to buy tickets to Pasadena. It is comical to say the least.

2. Corporations and TAF have killed the atmosphere of Tiger Stadium.

I actually agree with this one. TAF and the economic times have forced many people I know to give up season tickets. I am willing to bet money corporations get first shot at these tickets and snag them up.

I don't think everybody's gotten at that point yet.

bullshite. UF atmosphere as good as any since early 80's. If LSU doesn't keep up with ticket pricing, there will be no LSU football of significance to worry about. Just the way it is in D1 football.

No doubt - I was thinking about starting a thread around this. I wasn't down too hard on the Tigers before UGA, but was worried. Now, we've beaten UGA and Auburn (soundly), with a good defensive showing against #1 Florida. I'm a little more optimistic.

My guess is that the negatigers are silent at the moment, waiting for the team to suck so they can bitch. The positigers are in full-on "bask in the moment" glory. It's not that one is suddenly the other.

Miles' only problem is that, in a strangely unrelated correlation, appears to be listening to The Rant for his game plan.

I keep hearing this. I only go to 1-2 home games a year because I live in Atlanta. I tend to go to the better games (not going to make the trip to see U-La-La or La. Tech, sorry), but the atmosphere seems about "normal" to me. We do seem to have a lot more people in the expensive seats leaving early than when those seats were relatively inexpensive, however.

please do not judge all fans based on a few. we have some damn good and loyal fans and i would put our fanbase up against any in teh country. the fair weather segment is inevitable, esp for a nationally prominent team.

also, money has indeed change the atmosphere in Tiger Stadium and not for the better. it's a sign of the times though and if were are gonna be prominent nationally, we gotta have plenty of dough. sometimes, i miss the old days.
