I do think he gets in eventually. Don't forget he is an admitted PED user.

his post season #s arent good enough to vault him that much. He has like 230 career wins and an ERA near 4

Smoltz is 15-4 in the postseason with a 2.67 ERA

Pettitte is 15-9 with a 3.91 ERA


thats not even in the same stratosphere

Listen, I love Andy Pettitte. But there are only about 10 or 12 pitchers who are still in the league that have been pitching since 1995. And he happened to play on one of the best dynasties of all-time, playing in 7 World Series in his career.

John Smoltz would have the most wins in this time if he didn't close for 3 or 4 years.
