i know what a brain injury can do. I never discounted that and i applaud byrd for rehabbing well and hope to see him on the field soon. The point you arent getting is he would type the same way regardless of a head injury. Its hood or whatever you want to call it. Lafell types the same way.

You spent a decade or so in brain injury research, too?

As to Lafell and others, it is what it is for them and their generation and culture.

Why ridicule D-Byrd when you have no way of really knowing how much of his brain injury affects both speech and his overall communication.

Those of us who have worked in that field know just how it difficult recovery from these types of brain injuries can be. No matter how hard Demetrius works, he may never make a complete recovery. Though I certainly hope that he will, of course.
