Did we witness the death of the option?

Did we witness the death of the option experiment last night. I recall it tried once (to the short side of the field of course) and it was stopped. Hopefully we bury that page for the rest of the year irregardless of who is running it

Jefferson is not an option QB. but when he runs, he runs well if he protects the ball.

We need to end all designed for JJ. Hes good at scrambling, but not running.

God, I hope so.....It hasn't gone anywhere with JJ running it. But, maybe Shepherd can get it going.

We need to keep a few designed rollout pass/run options for JJ...he's going to need this against Bama.

me too. even the apparent option that turned into a reverse with JoJo looked doomed from the start. auburn read it well, and the reverse wouldn't have gone anywhere even if it had been executed well, but the start of the play looked awkward, to say the least.
