There is no decline of LSU. It's called the toughest conference in the country drawing in some of the best coaches in the game in the last few years (or at least the right coaches for their respective programs), which makes the recruiting a little more even, making all games a little tougher than they used to be.

That "tough conference" does not seem to be phasing that red and white team a couple states to our East. Going UNDEFEATED after a 6-6 season, something that didnt even come close to happeneing with the best talent that this school has ever seen under Miles' watch. Not to mention, that team could be well on thier way to going undefeated again this season. They dont seem to be worried about a tough conference.

No decline? 7-5 last season. Lackluster performes this whole year, as well as an offense ranked in the 100s. Seems like a slight decline to me.

Maybe LSU fans have subconciously lowered expectations.

I don't see Saban winning an SEC Champ at bama anytime soon. I still think LSU wins the west and gets another chance to play Florida again! No decline here!
