not taking a guy because you think he may get hurt when he hasn't shown a history of doing so doesn't really seem wise

Pick CP3 then...I have no fricking clue about Fantasy BB

im leaning this way.
i also believe cp3 will get more minutes than lbj, because cp3 will play in more competitive games.
fwiw, cp3 has been taken more times at the #1 spot than lebron has, in leagues which have already drafted.

it all depends on your draft strategy really.

I agree. I went with CP3 and got Calderon in the second round and another PG in the later rounds so I will dominate in assists. If you go that route, get two PF/C in the third and fourth round that rebound and shoot free throws well and you'll have a step up on assists, fg%, ft% and be competitive in rebounds. Follow it up with a couple of good swingmen and you'll have some more 3's and points. In the late rounds, fill in players strong in stats you may have missed (like Birdman for some blocks).

If that's the case, then you should draft Lebron. He's going to get you 7 assists and fill up cats that cp3 won't. The only way I wouldn't take LBJ is if I was worried about a pg not being there in the 2nd or 3rd, which shouldn't be the case this year.

Yeah good point, but if you playing in a Turnover league you're getting more turnovers from your SF in Lebron than your PG in CP3. It just depends on what strategy you want to go with. I guess Lebron would be the safe pick because he gives you a solid base in EVERY stat. But with CP3 you get a PG that dominates his position at 5 of the 8 categories. Fantasy basketball is all about draft strategy and you just have to go a different route if you take Lebron, which would also end up very well.

I took CP3. But I'm a homer and it's just for fun.

Lebron James - Contributes in all categories except FT%.
