Anyone make it to the boudin cook-off, andouille or boucherie festivals today?

No, but I made the barb-que festival in N.O today.
I can't say it is a great one by any normal standards, but they did have 10-12 booths there that looked to be serving some pretty good stuff.
They blues that was being played on stage sounded pretty good.

Boudin cookoff was a good time, Not a huge crowd but plenty of good food, even alot of free samples,good music and beautiful weather.

The mention of "pig" when describing someone eating boudin should be "they put a lot of pig in this link" or "god I love pig."

I've been to the Boucherie all weekend. Had to come home to sober up.
Cracklins were outstanding. I knew several people cooking there this weekend. It was fun. Nice weather for a change helped too.

I have friends coming in from Chicago this weekend and they would love to visit a typical La. festivals and hear local music....any festival this upcoming weekend that I should consider. Thanks in advance.
