No college team goes after two players from the same team that also play the same position. They pick the best one and LSU did. Jones may be good though, a run stopper.

Miami NW has some HS football team. There is also one really good one with a lot of D1 players in GA.

yeah, but that team was the best high school team in the country
back to the topic, LSU never went after Jones... not sure why though
regardless, sounds like he wouldnt have come to LSU anyway- any idea why though?

Probably because they really didn't recruit him hard. Got turned off and committed to michigan
