First, hard to believe that guy is supposedly only around 160 lbs. He certainly drags some tacklers on multiple clips around. Second, if he is 4.6 40 like I've seen on a couple of sites, then some of those 4.6 times for other players must be 4.8. In clip after clip he is running around everybody or between two guys trying to converge from both sides on him.
And the really funny thing is Rivals and ESPN have him as a 3* although Scouts I believe has him a 4*. 3* really? I don't think so. On Rivals scale, he is a minimum 5.8 which is a low 4* and I might put him a 5.9. He is one of the quickest RBs I have seen on those clips. And ESPN says he has good second level speed but hasn't shown explosive speed. Tell that to the umteen teams featured on those clips. Of course, these are highlight videos but when you do outrun everybody on defense and you do it to team after team since the clips are from many different games as proved by the uniforms, then I say to ESPN, watch your own clips and find any guy who came close to not only catching him but even just not losing any ground during the chase. None of them ever did.
Bottom line, I'm glad to hear the LSU is now #1 on his list just like Marsh. I think both players are underrated, although Marsh the DT has been raised lately on Rivals to 4* just like he has been on Scouts but I believe he is still rated a 3* on ESPN.

I agree man. I posted yesterday that I love Gore's espn film. Dude can run. He definently reminds me a little of Skyler Green. I agree as well with Marsh. I would keep him at a 3*. I really am not sold on him. He Doesn't really look explosive off the snap. Then again I Have only seen his espn film.

When I clicked on Gore's name in the recruiting prospects post above, it showed his Rivals ranking as four star. Am I just misreading or misinterpreting the thing?
Here, this shows him as a four star on Rivals (6th at his position in the nation, 160th nationally):

No sir my fault, I had it flipped. I said he was 4* on Scouts and 3* on Rivals and he is 3* on Scouts and 4* on Rivals. I guess which one you trust more is whether it is better or worse than my original statement.

If he is Frank Gore's brother, I don't care, but he has to be very good.

Well he's not his brother, so I guess we should pull out and quit recruiting him.
