One former signee for sure. Chad Durbin, LSU signee from Baton Rouge that was drafted in 4th round (I think) out of high school so he went straight to the pros. Anyway, he came in relief last night for the Phillies with two runners on and one out, and he induced a line out to RF before being replaced for a lefty reliever.

yeah just think if LSU would have had durbin in 97, 98 and 99....

I believe Hawpe and Byrd were the only ones to make the playoffs.

Both of them are now sitting at home.

Andy Pettitte is from Baton Rouge.
Juan Pierre went to High School in Alexandria.

Not really. I think he was born here, but he didn't play ball in Baton Rouge.
