Do you think Miles will see this or hear about it. I don't want him to quit talking to us or reporters, but I do want him to know that he and his top coaches have missed the mark this year in their assessment of our own team. How could that happen?

When you work with someone day in and day out you should know what's going on with your team.

Maybe those quotes were him hoping or wishing out loud, but if so that's what he should have said.

Had he done that he would be viewed as weak in not confident, so Carl is right that coaches are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

My problem with Coach is not his misreads and statements that haven't panned out, but his over use of "filler" words like "Certainly", and "Compete", so that they've lost their true meaning.
