Dear Tiger Faithful:
Home safely from Baton Rouge after my 1st trip to LSU...
THANKYOU ALL from DelawareSEC and crew. I appreciate all of your advise prior to my trip to Tigerland & the incredible amount of hospitality we were shown by Tiger Nation this past weekend. In particular, Tiger Droppings poster sect 13 & his family(you are all awesome what a great group of people), The GE tailgate crew,Trina & the Gator, Dave from Charlotte as well as others.
We had a great time in your town particularly Saturday. I was the one walking around with the "Delaware Baseball" shirt(LSU hat of course)and the sign "came from Delaware... need 2". I was able to land two tix for my brother & I at a decent price of $150 ea. row 4 upper sideline 35 yd line.I did meet someone at the airport who had a threshold of $250 & didnt get in. Not sure how hard he tried.
While flying home with my brother I told him that "if the rest of the country could treat one another, the way LSU Tiger Fans treated us, our country wouldnt have any problems". You are GOOD people.
Now that I no longer have Rookie status for Saturday in BR. Two tips I would suggest for any rookie adventurer to Tigerland......
1. Bring the Tylenol.. My head was splitting... not necc from the drinking, you all can make some serious noise in that stadium.
2. Make sure to pack plenty of dental floss. I couldn"t wait to get back to the hotel after the game to floss with all that pork & gator & some other stuff stuck in my teeth that tasted great!
Man you all can cook & tailgate!!! What a great time we had.
Thank you all for making our trip the most memorable we ever had!!
Good Luck the rest of the way!!

Glad you were able to enjoy the experience. You might see lots of negativity from fans, but its because our love for the tigers. Hope you are able to make it again

Good point. I had stuff in my teeth all night from bacon-wrapped-around-deer and other things...
Glad you enjoyed Baton Rouge!

Every team has a few. But what I saw & the way we were treated was 1st class.

You didn't get hit in the head with a cup full of ice? Guess that means someone else out there got hit with two.

Glad y'all a good experience. Come back anytime!
I'll bump it in the morning if it gets buried. I'll be 'working' all night.
