These guys got whipped in every passing situation. JJ is not perfect, but when the tackles are getting beat this badly, you really don't have a chance to succeed against UF's defense.

May we never run another option play. Maybe it's called to spread the D and open up Scott on the inside. But if you can't run it effectively, there's no point, it's just wasting downs.

Why run the ball on 3rd down from the 3 if you don't plan on going for it? Aside from the numerous critical penalties, that call did it for us. If you don't trust your OL to run on 4th down from the 1.5, then you shouldn't have run on 3rd down from the 3, period.

Maybe switching Barksdale from DL to OL wasn't that great of a decision.

Couldnt agree more with all of this.

Also, when you have the same players making MENTAL (offsides) mistakes....... why isnt he sitting on the bench?

We had defenders in the UF backfield as much as UF had in ours. The difference is our QB. If one guy comes around the end, JJ just sits there and stares at him instead of moving to the other side of the line, or stepping up and actually letting the ball go.

Tebow burnt us on it all night. No sacks if your qb knows what he's doing. Can't blame the lineman on this one. If we blocked three, and one guy made it through, guess what? JJ got dropped.

Our DL did not get near the same kind of pressure on Tebow. That's just plain false.

Does Jefferson handle pressure particularly well? No, you're right about that. But their DL was whipping us on passing downs, particularly Black (blindside) and Barksdale.
