I can't see me getting anything done today at work today at all, packing the car with wife and twins and rolling to BR around 230p from Destin, FL...

Packing up and heading to B.R this afternoon from Alabama. By the grace of god, after I spent hours trying to wheel and deal on the Ticket board I was told by some relatives that the wife and I have 2 FREE tickets for the game!!

My wife and I are on the road in a few minutes, heading from Houston. We have Sirius in the car and an iPhone as well--tips on good, college football-oriented Sirius shows and/or Baton Rouge sports stations that stream would be most appreciated...oh yeah, any construction news west of BR would also be great.

Ffhouston, don't speed through Lake Charles. I got a pretty high ticket there just as I crossed over the bridge a couple weekends ago as I was coming from my sister's house. It had just dropped from 70 to 60 and my cruise was still set on 83...ouch!

I'll be leaving bluebonnet drive tomorrow morning at about 8 or so to head down to campus. It's rediculous to think about how much I'm NOT going to get done at work today. My thoughts are with everyone traveling from long distances. Be safe, Geaux Tigers.

Katy/Houston leaving at 3:00. I have many changes of clothes and an all blue rain suit. I also have my LSU poncho but if it is coming down cats and dogs, I may have to don blue in the stadium.
