i have tried to be a class act, representing bama over here.search my post.i've always defended ya'll,except of course when we play each other.i love the sec,and what it has accomplished.always root for ya'll except when playing each other. that being said,i've got to call you out on this one.bama vs lsu,2004.you stated in your post that the no-call pass interference, was bogus.that the receiver faked the fall. before you see this video,i'm lettin you know,in no way this caused us to lose this football game.even had we got the TD,we likely woulda lost.however,if you can look at this and say the receiver was not touched while the ball was in the air,not interfered with, then at least i'll know your intelligence concerning ncaa football.have at it.

there was contact there but you will see the same thing on EVERY pass like that. there was no reason the WR should have been knocked on his arse by a little shove like that. it looked worse that it was IMHO

It was pass interference..missed called

With that said do you think the WR would have made the catch, or would it have have been intercepted anyways?

Just curious...It looks to me like the ball was throw right to Webster... The WR was out of position, turned the wrong way..

trust me,i've been over it.he is the one that brought it up,not me,check his post, and stated it never happened. proof is in the pudding.as i said, even had it been called, and we scored,we still woulda lost the way ya'll were playing that night. has nothing to do with the final outcome,as some bama fans would lead you to believe.it only has to do with being truthful.i'm guessing, you don't know anything about that.

He wasn't turned the wrong way, I watched it again

but Webster has all over that ball...What was the final of that game?

Assuming Bama just kicks a FG...that was a 3rd down play

What can we say? Really cheap arse why to defend a pass. That's the way the POS coach we had back then taught them to play defense.

i agree. corners will put their arms out to feel where the receiver is. thats all i saw webster do. he didnt even lean into the "push".

and im not being a homer cause when i watched it full speed just now, i thought it was a pass interference. on the replay, its obvious there was almost no push by webster.

the WR just fell down due to him being off balance.

edit (again)

ok watched it a 3rd time... pass interference. Webster put more on that push than i thought.

Nah, let it fester like the arse-rapings we get at Auburn every-other year.

Thank God you started this thread.

I've been living in my Mom's basement masturbating 5 times a day and feverishly compiling a list of every bad call against LSU in the past 20 years and have been waiting to unleash them.

No, wait. That's you.

hence the reason i said we woulda still lost.looked as if he got shoved well before the ball got there, but who's to say he woulda caught it anyhow? as i said,i really had'nt thought about it,till a poster brought it up. so,i searched the video. anyhow, good luck against the gators! hoping ya'll come into tuscaloosa undefeated, and if you beat the gators, you should be.my entire office in louisiana,or most, are lsu alumni. they've been quiter than normal this year, but now, starting to perk up a bit.

Both players had their arms extended. The WR could have been called for Offensive Interference, the DB could have been called with Defensive Interference, could have had offsetting penalties, replay the down, or ref could decide better to keep the flag in his pocket and allow the players to PLAY ON! Another explanation could be that the yellow hanky was sewed into the refs pocket and he was unable to rip it out.

8 vs 7

Here's Petersen and Green going at it. Look at their arms.

No call.

Correct call.

Same thing in 2004, except Bama guy tried to fake the fall vs All-America CB who was going to go up and get the INT without pushing anyway.
