Danielson and LSU today on Finebaum

I never understand it. But a lot of people on this board somehow hate Gary Danielson or think that he's a bad announcer or that he hates LSU.
Saying today that he's called 250 or 300 game in his career. He said that the best was probably the 2007 UF-LSU game. Went on and on about the hitting and the atmosphere in that game.
He also said the 2007 and 2008 LSU-Alabama games were probably in his top 5.
For all of those who can't appreciate that he's by far the best college football announcer, at least 3 out of his top 5 games ever called are LSU games.

I don't get the hate either. It's probably just because Danielson tells it like it is. He's the best color guy in the business.

hes worse than madden, he talks about the most random shite at the worst times...like when green scores hes ramblin about arm length...or he is explaining shite like we are 8 years old

I have been listening to Vern Lundquist since the 1970s when he was the play by play guy on radio for the Dallas Cowboys. He is excellent and I dont get the hate for him.

Danielson is BY FAR the best in the biz. I cant tell you how many times that guy will tell you where to go to exploit an offensive or defensive tendency and 1 or 2 plays later....bam. Exactly what he said comes to fruition. The guy knows his stuff.

Reason why he talk about other stuff at the time is to explain the FINER point of what Football and what make a play work. Remember this, when you are there life, there IS no announcer.
