celebration penalty for UGA

i know it's been talked about. but im sick of the talking heads on espn saying the only reason we won was because of the great field position from it. if it had been a field goal that won the game, yes you could say the penalty won us the game. without kicking from th 15, trindon still returns the kickoff 40 yards. and scott has a 48 yard td run instead of a 33 yard td.
i just watched college football live and they said it again and i had to rant about it.

I know a UGA fan that said he was really gonna be pissed when LSU kicked a field goal to win. But when Scott ran it in for the TD, his feeling was UGA had their chance, didn't take care of business, and deserved the L.

Get used to it Dupont, it is only going to be worse next week when they say we would not have won if Tebow played or was 100 %

We scored off of a great return and some great runs in a short amount of time.
The way I see it, we scored in like 20 something seconds leaving UGA with 40 something seconds to score after giving them the same excessive celebration penalty.

What pissed me off is they conviently , didn't tell the whole story. Penalties on both teams. LSU scores in 29 seconds. Georgia can't return the ball as well and can't move football.

im already prepared for that. it's a lose lose situation to the media next week. if we beat them without tebow, it's only because he didn't play. if we beat with tebow, it's only because he wasn't 100%. i can hear herbstreit saying it now.

exactly. we had the same damn penalty after scott scored and put in the same hole. but we did what we had to do.

Also every time LSU tackles Tebow, they are going to say dirty hit. Deliberatelly trying to hurt him.

Yeah, yeah, Scott's run for a touchdown. If you were pinned back on your own 30 yard line (could'a been more or less) would Scott have gotten the ball or would Jefferson be throwing the ball? I seriously doubt Charles Scott would have gotten the ball with about a minute left. But anyway, we didn't take care of business early in the game, we missed a FG so we really didn't deserve a comeback. FWIW, Florida is going to KILL LSUX.
