Garrett Jones is a 28 year old rook. Do you think this half season is indicative of his career or an aberration?

i think he could hit 30 HR's next year
he put up power in the minors too
he's not the first 28 year old to "burst" on the scene.

I'm sure there may be another, but statistically speaking a very small minority of these guys produce consistently at a high level.

He could but it's unlikely. The one guy you were right about last year that I didn't think would be keeper worthy was Ethier. He always hit for avg/obp but I didn't think his power would improve enough. Good call.

frick, nevermind. He's not gonna have 2B eligibility next year.
Sorry, LE.

i think ill end up keeping him anyway
where does it say he wont be 2B elig?

He needs to have 10 games played at a position this year to be eligible next year.
He only played 2. He will be eligible at 1b, 3b, and of in 2010.

You think that is a fair straight up trade?

Once again, if there are any opening next year let me know.

Port looks like he is contemplating quitting.

I think in 2010, Garza is slighty more valuable than Colby. I think from 2011 on, Rasmus is going to be way more valuable than Garza will be. Rasmus is gonna score a shitload of runs hitting in the 2 hole in front of Pujols.

what is St. Louis OF situation?
Holiday, Ankiel, Rasmus, Ludwick
seems crowded.
