SO this penalty is designed to punish a race?

I don't think anyone is saying that.

He is referring to racism....and he has a point.
Tebow can go nuts on a first down against Troy.......no flags....AJ and Charles Scott can't celebrate huge touchdowns late in a game without drawing a flag.

I think the SEC officials including the replay officials are just corrupt and the worst in college football. The SEC does nothing to stop this, so it does need to be addressed.

people are misintepreting the penalty on AJ. it was not thrown when he was celebrating with his teammates. the referee said it was him drawing attention to himself after the celebration with his fellow teammates. so all these announcers should get their shite straight b/c the penalty was called for something that we at home did not get a chance to see....according to the referee that threw it.

I agree, if it applies to CS and AJ green it should also apply to that douchebag tebow

That ìs open for interpretation and that's a dangerous terrain. What aboub tebow when he did the cellphone gesture to the student section in 07??

Plain and simple it was 2 bad calls on either side and had an impact on the outcome of the game. The officials shoul dnever be allowed to do that! It's football, you should be allowed to celebrate!!

he got called for it...this race shite blows my mind!!! I guess Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will be all over it this week

The inside of Brando's house is pink.

Most of it is. True. Been there.

It may not be race...maybe it is reputation....but there is no doubt there is a double standard. Tebow draws attention to himself after every score...jumping up and down waving to the corwd or doing the Gator Chomp.
The biggest BS is that they can do the Gator Chomp to you but if you score you can't do it.

I haven't seen the video, but I feel the need to respond to the 2 ridiculous calls on the excessive celebration penalties on both UGA and LSU. It's a shame that these kids are not allowed to celebrate a TD in a big game atmosphere, especially at a critical point in the game. These kids are up by 6am for workout, then class, lunch, study hall, practice, etc. It is a full time job and they are making millions of dollars for their school, the SEC, and NCAA. How dare these refs punish these kids for showing positive emotion. This penalty really needs to be evaluated and changed.

I saw this earlier too and was wondering what Brando meant by the SEC doesn't want an investigation on to why the their conference calls more of these celebration penalties than any other conference...Interesting...whatever it takes to get rid of this rule will suit me.
