Mates, what a great game. We started a "Who Dat" chant after Chuck Scott's TD that continued and prospered all the way down Bourbon St.

BTW - ton of Jets fans in town but they were all pretty cool and good natured in cheering for LSU

Is that any better than starting LSU chants at a Saints game?

They're equal. If you're in the minority than STFU or join in.

I can remember the day after the SEC champioship in 2003. The Saints were playing the Bucs @ the Dome. I was listening to WWL and Buddy D came on at halftime and announced that word had leaked out that LSU had made it into the BCS championship game. by middle of the 3rd quarter word had filtered into the stands at the Dome. Slowly a "LSU" "LSU" "LSU" chant started throughout the crowd. got goose bumps just hearing come over the radio

My Mom and Dad met at LSU, fell in love at LSU, got married a month after the graduated from LSU.

Brought me up a Saints and Tiger fan. Brought me to the Dome every other Sunday from the age of 3 on up.

Sent me to LSU.

I love LSU and the Saints equally. I guess I should be more understanding of people who don't have the same perfect upbringing that I do, but it's hard.

Because it was fricking perfect.

I was there. We were also pissed at Haslett and Brooks ( a recurring theme for a couple of years). I just remember Aaron Brooks throwing a screen with 50 seconds left on fourth down, down by a touchdown from our own 30-35ish. How he stayed a starting QB for so long is beyond me, but if the Saints drafted a new QB that year (I think that was when Aaron Rodgers fell) then we wouldn't have Brees.

I think its pretty cool. The Tigers remain undefeated and now the fans who are on Bourbon St start the party for the Saints to do the same. What's wrong with that? How great would it be for the state for each team to go all the way when neither was really expected to do so? Have pride while the getting is good!

In 03? Buddy D was still alive? When did he pass away?

Ps

If we win the Super bowl this year I think we need to dig buddy up and put him in a dress. And I mean that in a respectful of him way
