Blitzkreig'n 'em till they cry

I remember a time when I was a lad, just a few years ago. I sat in the stands in Tiger Stadium and although I was shitfaced, horny, and staring at Erin Andrews' arse I can still recall to this day a great and wondeful concept that once worked oh so well, and was a main cog in the 'ship run of oh-three. This little thing of beauty was what a man might call, the blitz. You see, in college football there is this amazing ability to rattle a quarterback and make him cry for his mama like a frat boy heading to Angola. Now this thing called the blitz, it made life hell for the other team. Hell I seen one poor boy outta Georgia get walloped with it twice in once season. It was possibly the greatest thing invented since the breast. Yes the Blitz is something that has faded away and is seldom used anymore at LSU, shunned in favor of soft coverages and blown assignments. Now I reckon, we got the boys to do it too, that if we could just blitz em a lil more, and by a lil more I mean every damned play if it calls for it, I think we'd have more than just an alright chance. Heck maybe even win the dang thing this weekend. But what do I know? But if it was up to me we'd blitz em early, and blitz em often.
