agreed. Take I-85 North to 316. I live here and you always risk a back-up at anytime on that side of 285 towards 78 (reason is lots of trucks take it). I just checked for you and there is no construction scheduled for I-85 north thru town so you should be all good. I would however check again on friday on georgianavigator.com and just be sure. Also, on a saturday morning you should have smooth sailing right thru town. See you up there!
