Here is my current team:
QB-Garrard/Edwards
RB-MJD/Barber/R.Bush/J.Stewart
WR-Colston/Evans/Housh/Manningham
TE-Witten
D/ST-Washington Redskins
K-Tynes

Should I go with G.Coffee at RB or maybe P.Garcon at WR? Or should I look for some other names on the wire? Fast Willie Parker is out there too. Any advice would help.

Thanks in advance guys!!!

Garrard is not even close to a starting QB imo...

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume that you are in a 20-team league.

If that is the case, there probably isn't anyone to pick up besides Seneca Wallace. Don't do that. However, if there are any other QBs besides Josh what's his name from Tampa Bay, let's get that list out.

I like Coffee as a short term sub for Barber or bye-week fill in for Stewart, but he's probably not your long-term solution. Garcon is not more reliable than your current squad, so don't waste your time.

Find out if Willie has turf toe as was reported by someone in another thread. If not, he's got some easy Ds on the horizon.

damn, i think Hill is the most consistent for long term use, Kolb will be out when McNabb comes back.

This is a 12 team league btw. I'm thinking about trading for Flacco. Guy that owns Flacco has Brees but could use some WR/RB help. Any suggestions for possibly trading to get Flacco?

I don't think you can afford to part with what it would take to get Flacco. Pick up Hill right away. He's not setting the world on fire yet, but I think he will. He's got St. Louis this week and is without his No. 1 RB. I have him as my back up because I think he's going to have a good year. Don't try to outsmart yourself or you'll end up with Flacco handing the ball off every play and no one else on your team recording measurable statistics on a regular basis.

Well nobody else in the league is in need of a QB so Hill could be my last pick and I will have no problems getting him. Who would be the one person on the wire that I should pick up, if only for trade value?

Oh and forgot about WR-R.Laurent...who I've just dropped. That leaves an extra roster spot.

You need to improve your team and not worry about trade bait. That is something that you worry about when your own house is in order. I'm leaving and don't have time to go back to the beginning of the thread and look at all of what's been said. The guy who has Gore really needs Coffee. Check that out first.

Get a better D too. Bengals would be good this week and they might not be taken.

And can you pick up Choice as RB.

Maybe pick up Campbell in the short term, while working on trade for the long term. The rest of your squad is pretty solid.

pick up Coffee with ur 1st priority Waiver pick, you should be able to pick up the other guys no matter what order u get, Coffee and Garcon are the only 2 i think you might have trouble getting

Is Kevin Walter available? He is a guy that was over-looked in some leagues do to injury. he back healthy now and should be Houston's #2 WR. Grab him for free is available. Otherwise Burleson has been getting targeted a ton, no TD's though.
