Anyone tried Tiger Sushi, the old Fiji Sushi on Sherwood? It's in the neighborhood but we haven't tried it yet....don't want to bother if people have tried it and it blows.

In the area we usually eat at the Thai sushi place across the street, Duang Tuang. We like it pretty much but wanted to try Tiger.

Thanks for any advice.

Please tell me you have been to Waka House, two doors down from Tiger. It's awesome! Katsumoto and Karadynamite rolls

I have eaten there once and thought it was very good. I don't really get into the rolls much, but the sashimi and nigiri was very fresh.

We ate at Waka House right after it opened and ehhhhh. We haven't been back but you aren't the first to mention it as good. We just haven't been back for some reason. We'll try Waka too.

That's cool, thanks for the help. Wanted to make sure it didn't just plain blow. Fresh is more important to me than anything else.

same here. most people talk about this roll and that roll, but you can mask the taste of mediocre fish with all the crap that goes into a roll. nothing against rolls, but it shouldn't be the only measuring stick to how good the restaurant is.

Fuji(RIP) used to have a grilled yellowtail collar that was one of the best things I've ever eaten. It wasn't on the menu but they would make it for you if they had it.

Fuji was filthy and sucked hog balls.

I agree, Fuji sucked hard. I've always been a big fan of WAKA House.

I think Tiger Sushi is very good and fresh. Don't let Fuji be the measuring stick. Totally different ownership and management

I'm a fan of Waka myself, haven't tried Tiger Sushi.....always wondered why there were 2 sushi places in the same parking lot though....
